I've heard if toothpaste is applied to skin it tends to dry it out, perhaps that why some people use it on pimples. The minty ingredient could act as a light anaesthetic or a stop itch cure. I use tiger massage cream on mosquito bites to stop the itch. If I were bitten by a spider though I think it would be last thing I reach for.

Besides the gum disesase and gingivitis, toothpaste can actually calm down a burn. It works really well, but I suggest using the regular kinds (not the ones with the extra stuff) Hope this helps!

Toothpaste can help dry out a pimple, but not completely. If you use it, I heard only use the paste not the gel. I tried it on a mosquito bite and it didn't help.

Toothpaste cures yellow, gunky teeth and bad breath. Also some cure gingivitis and prevent cavities. Isn't that enough?

Many of the toothpastes are made with aluminum which is toxic to the body.
many of the old style have bicarbonate of soda, and many old remedies use that.

I have heard that it helps acne, if you put it on pimples at night they go away. Never tried this myself but I have heard of it :-)

Plaque and gum disease. Not much else. Although it cleans grout rather well.
