Grey or white is the actual color of all our hair. We have special pigment cells that add color to our hair. As we age, these cells stop working. When that happens, hair reverts to it real color, white or grey

to be quite honest its not. However what usually causes gray hair? the answer is age, and with age you tend to see a big slow down in oil production, try using a ph balanced shampoo, and give it some moisture.

shampoos and special formulas will be nothin but a waste of money the only way to get the colour back in ur hair is if u dye it.
the reason its different is because there is no colour pigment in it which gives it a different texture look and smothness.
sorry but theres nothin you can do about it.

I like to call it Pigment Imparied. The hair has lost it's pigment and it has a different texture. Just like scar tissue doent tan and the skin sometimes feels different. There is no pigment.

It can be wiry. I had coarse curly hair to begin with so when mine went white it was not a huge change. I think it will be more noticeable to some one with fine hair.
The reason is it's drier.

the color pigmentation has left it..meaning as you age you loses the pigments in your hair that gives you its color..the hair becomes a silverish color also known as gray..

because normally it is corser and dryer but i personally think ther is something beautiful about silvery grey hair i hope when i get older i get hair like that , its just about owning it and being like yes its grey and what are you going to do about it , its me and im beautiful just they way i am grey hair and all .. and when people have that attitude aboutit , its great

cos we're aging i hate it only have it on my front frinch so i dye my hair to cover it up

Maybe because the color is gone. Perhaps color has oils in it or more gelatin.
