How much weight?

I'm NOT one of those health nuts...and so I had to figure out exactly how my body reacts to different things... but this is what i did to lose 26 pounds in 3 1/2 weeks.

1. Stop eating fast food (especially when you eat it once a day... or more than 4 times a week)... you can EASILY drop a few pounds.

2. Buy a couple cases of water... and I'm serious when i say this... drink it... and keep drinking it. Dont wait until you're hungry to take a couple sips. Just keep yourself full of water..and your hunger wont even surface. I dont recommend replacing food with water... but I'm not kidding when I say this. I didn't even realize that I hadn't eaten one day.... until someone asked me. Then I was like... .why aren't i hungry. Its because I had drank 3 liters of water! lol. So i chomped down some protein to be healthier...

4. TAKE MULTI VITAMINS if you are dieting! this is very important. The odds are that you are removing some vitamins from your diet that are important... so make sure to take them.

5. When you order a meal at a restaurant... ask them to put half in a to-go container... before they bring it out. If you wait until afterwards... then YOU have to make the choice...and the food might taste too good to pass up. This saves you a ton of calories... imagine... 500 calories... that you DONT have to work off in the gym. Thats like half an hour or more on the ellyptical machine.

6. Work out! I had to get a buddy to go with me... i didn't have the discipline. Now, I want to go...simply because I dont want to gain the weight back. If you lift weights... your metabolism will increase.... and if you do cardio, you will burn fat. DO BOTH. Dont just do one...or the other. If you just burn fat...and you still have a slow metabolism, you will only be be burning fat that your body is going to be trying to store up at the next meal. Stop fighting the uphill battle!

For ME: It was all about NOT EATING AS MUCH. I'm a tall guy, that has always carried my weight well... but I've felt my energy sagging, and haven't felt good about myself in a while. Bottom line... eating made me feel tired and lazy. So then... I'd stay home and do nothing... which meant i would be bored. Which typically meant that i would be eating garbage to kill time... and my boredom. The key is to get OUT of the house, drink tons of water, dont eat when you're bored, and try to be more active. IT DOESN"T MATTER WHAT TYPE OF "ACTIVE" you are. Walk more than you normally would... wrestle with your kids each day (this is a work out... even if you dont feel it).

I've heard that getting an exercise ball and using that as your computer chair will dramatically increase the strength of your core, and I'll be trying that soon. Let me know if you do... and good luck.

Take care

There are about none that can be done in a healthy way unless your metabolism is fast.
