I really believe that Ali was just too clever and skilled as a boxer and knew he could outbox George. Even if Foreman would have paced himself better, Ali would have never allowed him to land his big bombs cleanly. Ali knew how to beat big strong guys like George just like he did vs Liston. He simply used his great boxing ability.

I don't think so, Styles make fights, and Ali just had the right style to beat Foreman. Speed, movement, defense, and Ali also had a good chin. The few punches that George hit him with didn't faze him. It's all about styles. That's why Foreman destroyed Joe Frazier and Ken Norton, they couldn't stick and move like Ali, they were right there to be hit. I don't know what Foreman could've done to change his game, because he surely couldn't outbox Ali. I say Ali wins if they fought 4 or 5 times.

exciting, I as quickly as heard him saying in an interview that he could have particularly flattended jack Dempsey, and there is he rated 2d. and that i've got additionally heard him saying Rocky Marciano could had given him the main hardship out of any fighter, yet then he expenses him seventh. Hmmm... good record tho, could be extra effective with Ali as quantity a million. exciting to be certain Joe Louis at quantity 4. scent jealousy? mabye. basically to characteristic, i could actual relish the hyperlink to the place you obtain this record from. thank you. basically to characteristic, those styles of combatants in to a pair extend ether during or till now the 'Ali era'. it dosnt contain different super heavyweights which emerged later, collectively with Tyson, Holyfield, Lewis, or maybe the Klitschkos. Mabye if Ali have been to make this record lower back, given seeing George Foreman's 2nd identify, he could alter his record slightly. because of the undeniable fact that he has Larry Holmes interior the record, im presuming this record grew to become into made sometime around 1981-1985, till now the Tyson era. in user-friendly terms difficulty that puzzles me if the actuality why Sonny Liston isnt included on the record. thank you for sharing this record, im a extensive Ali fan!

Probably not. His confidence was shattered big time and it took him years to get over that loss. Ali was fast and hit hard, and he could take good shots, so it wasn't easy to face him again. Foreman was a great fighter, but his head wasn't always right in his younger days. Now, had he approached that initial fight with a better attitude, he may have had a chance...

I don't think so. He was so devastated when he lose to Ali that he took a long hiatus in boxing. The good thing about that long hiatus was that he made history by becoming the oldest champ in history.
