Here's what you gotta do:
1. Get a vitamin E capsule (most of them comes in gel capsule form that has a liquid inside. Any brand will do.)
2. Get a needle and pop the capsule.
3. Now get your shampoo bottle and put the liquid vitamin E inside the bottle.
4. Mix the bottle.
5. Use your shampoo.
You'll notice that your hair will grow faster compared before. Trust me, this works. :) I also do this myself. :)
If you have virgin coconut oil at home, you can use this as well. Put it on hair and leave it for at least 30 minutes (You can do this at least 3x a day). Then rinse it off using your shampoo. The VCO can act as your hair lengthener and as your conditioner. :) Goodluck! :) (Refer to my avatar to see how well VCO/Vitamin E works =P)

If you are noticing an increase in shedding then its important to go to your doctor for some blood work to make sure its not related to an malfunction somewhere in your body.It is normal to loose around 100 hairs per day on average.
these are some hair health tips to keep in mind
1.) Seaweeds, help stimulate the thyroid and give minerals for the proper health of the hair
2.) Spinach is great for the hair, contains lots of minerals,as are all the green vegetables.
3.) Protein your hair is made of protein so make sure you are getting it in either animal or vegetable form such as fish,chicken,beef,legumes,nuts... and cheese.Or protein drinks.
4.) take a good b-vitamin supplement with biotin which increases hair growth.
5.)MSM contains naturally occuring sulfer and will make your hair and nails grow faster.
6.) silica
this combined with a good scalp massage with herbal hair oil will do wonders for your hair. Avoid brushing ur hair when its wet,and use a natural shampoo that does not contain harsh or heavy cleansers with sodium laureth sulfates.

on average people lose 80-100 hairs a day. this is normal. if you keep your hair in a pony tail or up in any way, sometimes the hair doesnt get the chance to drop off. or even if you use a lot of product, the hair may stick together until you dislodge it either by brushing or shampooing.

hair falls out for many different reasons...
-stress
-medical treatments
-chemicals/products used
-not taking care of it
my hair was falling out badly too and my hair specialist told me all that i need to do.
1-steam your hair. buy a deep conditioner and steam your hair every time you wash it. Motions is a good brand but I'm not too sure you'll find it. Try TRESSumme instead. they're great. just wet your hair put in the conditioner and cover with a shower cap. sit under a dryer or use your hand dryer for 10mins and then shampoo and condition as you would. make sure and condition
2-don't wash your hair everday. this damages hair bcuz it's stripping the nautral oils.
3-change shampoos. this could be making it worse. TRESumme is really good and so is dove. very moisture rich.
4- [VERY IMPORTANT]Vitamins. take the vitamin Pantogar. this was recommended to me. The dosage is one capsule 3times daily. it works wonders.
5-Clip your ends every 3months. tradition is to cut it 3days b4 a full moon bcuz it's believed to grow fuller bcuz the hair is allowed to grow into/with the full moon faze.
6-try not to pull your hair back into a ponytail too often. instead use clamps from Goodie or somethin

Good nutrition. Cut way back on caffeine, sodas, fatty foods and refined sugar, and eat healthy foods without a lot of additives. A good multivitamin, plus supplements such as B-complex, Biotin, Calcium, and Omega-3 fatty acid supplements, such as Flax Oil, should do wonders for your nails, hair, skin, and will help you maintain a healthy weight, too. Stick with it and be patient. It takes time for healthy hair to be generated and grow in long enough to see it. Be careful of protein powder and protein drinks. There is some question they might cause kidney damage, if used too often or too much.

Use a natural shampoo with no salt (try Aubrey Organics) they have only natural products. They're in Florida (Tampa area).
But stress, food, tobbaco, hormonal disfunction, hair chemical treatments are the number 1 to lose hair!

It is normal for a person to lose about 100 hairs a day. If you lose more than that there might be a problem.
