They dont go anywhere. They are always there only after time they start to feel better. Kind of like a scar it can fade and even almost look gone yet its still always there. When you get a broken heart there will always be things even years later that will bring it back.

tackle it head on like all other problem that bothers you. Accept it and move on. my heart was broken after 3 years of marriage. I worked like a horse and treated her like a princess. she ended up cheating on me and even wanted to bring guys back home! I accepted she have changed since we first met, she's not the one for me. then I move on. it's your chance to do things you always wanted to do that you wouldn't, or couldn't do if you are with someone. buy a bike, do things that involve more risk. go out and pick up. whatever. find yourself again.. be confident and you will find someone soon, if you just be yourself.
