Depression is "anger turned inwards".

It comes (for many people) from some incident where you have been made angry or hurt and you have kept the emotion inside you.

Despression is the single most common mental ilness in the world today.

It literally sucks the life out of you and make you withdraw inwards.

Some people who have a very emotional response to life are more prone to depression than others.

How to cope with depression?

* acknowledge that it is your problem
* talk to some one share it
* get out of your house or room
* sit in the sun, look at life
* exercise (gym or dance or swim or walk)

Hope this helps

Peter

I feel the same. It is painful to talk. It makes me sick. Actually, I am so sad about something, that thinking hurts a wicked lot too. Being depressed, can seem to drain all the life out of you. So, 1. You're not alone. Even though I know that can't help you at ALL.......and 2. Just try to hang in like me... because I have some small, small hope that life will change and be good again someday. And maybe your's will too. Sorry you feel crappy.

emotion can affect the part of your brain that controls speech articulation. Its not that you cannot speak, its because when you get cloying with intense feelings, say , anger, the flight or fight mechanism steals your attention from the brain to give it to the body, this is to create a defter survival instinct and increased physical ability. Its basically the same concept, when you get overwrought with emotions, your brain finds an altenative means to expressing itself, through depression, thus, blurring your vocal ability to express yourself. Get help. dont take anti-depressants, without a doctors presciption, and eat right, often the food that you eat effects your mood. Goon up on Vitamin Bs . Oftentimes, vitamin B deficiency is the root to most neurological disorders, i.e. depression, forgetfulness

You need to see a professional as soon as possible. If you're too young to seek help yourself you will have to force yourself to talk to an adult that you trust. Do it! You are an important person!
