after doing a little research......ive came up with nothing..........no site i found gave a true definition of what the OSS stands for....i did however find a good article and review on the OSS's on thesandtrap.com, and the conclusion from reading this is that nikes definition of OSS could be Over Sized Sole...........due to the fact the sole is alot wider then your typical set of cavity back irons to prevent digging and let a slower swinger glide thru the ball.........im interested also in finding out "exactly" what the OSS stands for......

i play with the original slingshots and they are fantastic irons. i have had 5 different sets of irons and these are the best so far. they are extremely forgiving, very long because they are a little heavier than most, and very durable, in terms of "pop" that they have like they hit the ball as far as the did brand new three or four seasons ago. go for the slingshot its a great club. the 3,4,5 irons are kind of thick in the head but they play just like a hybrid interms of out ofthe rough i mean they are very easy to hit clubs to id reccommend them for most anyone whether you are a 3 handicapper or a 30 handicapper.
