this girl at school really likes, shes cute and all but the only problem is that she loves rap music and i HATE rap!! and plus i kinda have someone else on my mind. shes asked me out like 3 times and i said no on all and the 4th time she asked i told her "no" in an angry tone and the next day when we made eye contact she'd turn away and i could tell she was about tro cry and i feel like asked her out just to make her feel better

If the only reason you're not asking her out is because she likes rap and you don't then thats a poor excuse. I'm married and me and my husband cant stand each others music tastes. If you like her then yes ask her out and stop being so childish. Let her know that when you spend time together it will be going something that doesnt require a radio near so music will never become a problem. If she likes you as much as you say I'm sure she wont mind giving up the music to spend time with you.
But if you dont like her for any reason then no dont ask her out. You'd only be doing it out of pitty and if she found out it would really hurt her. Give this girl a little more respect then asking her out on a pitty date and getting her hopes up for nothing. Also there was no need to get mean about her asking you out. If she does it again let her know in a nice way that hey your just not interested right now but maybe you could be friends and see where it goes from there. If she likes you as much as you say thats better then nothing.
And I dont care what you do but appologize to her for yelling at her the way you did. You never know it might not be so bad being her friend and you might just find out shes a friend you dont want to live without.

Music is not the be all end all when two cannot agree on one type. Sometimes when you get to know someone a little better instead of being mean to them, you'll learn why they like a certain type of music and you become more open minded to it. It works the other way too, once you communicate with her, you'll be able to open her eyes to why you like certain types of music.
Usually, people chase after the one that's chasing after someone else and end up missing out on something good. It won't hurt to talk to her and find out what she's about. However, if you sincerely do not want to even be friends with her, then don't lead her on as you'll only make it worse for the next guy that comes along and really does like her.

rap music is just a stage, dont hold this against the girl,.
be a true gentleman and dont hurt girls feelings.
Give her a smile and a flower and show u care whether u go out with her or not.
Get a gentleman's reputation, not a snotty, snobbish self centered cold hearted rep.

don't feel sorry for her. don't lead her on either. just stay away. if you can't see yourself with her for a whole year, then don't bother.But I do want to say, i like rap, and my boyfriend likes the jazz, but that absolutely does not interfere. But maybe that's because i can see why people don't like rap, and I keep an open mind to new music. but i'm just saying, it can work.

To ask someone out just because they want to date you isn't the best idea around. Maybe you could just tell him you haven't considered going somewhere with her because you don't like rap. No rap and you would go.

I would pull her aside and apologize. I would just say that you are sorry and that shes a good person and all. But you just don't think that you two match up very well . Tell her that she can talk to you but that you really are meant for someone else

Even though you don't like her that doesn't mean you can't be her friend. Try to get to know her. I'm not saying ask her out because you shouldn't if you don't feel the same way about her. So, just be nice to her and explain why you don't like her the way she likes you. And remember be her friend!!!

tell her you're flattered that she likes/loves you. but you don't feel the same way. if she's not going to get over it, then it's too bad because you just have to move on in life and you can't just stay in the same spot. don't feel pity on her and ask her out just to make her feel better. if you love her, go to her. you'll both be happy. if you don't just tell her and you already have someone else in mind. if you feel pity for her, it'll just make everything worse. then you'll feel more pity and get yourself with someone you don't even like and by then, she'll be in too deep. if you tell her then, it'll shatter her even more. best to just tell her instead of feeling pity on her. not to be cruel, but that's how life is.
