If you become a Muslim, you will be the luckiest person. So I would say accept Islam first, and then if you want to marry, you should have no problem finding a good Muslim husband, Insha Allah. I also like that you are thinking ahead, and realize that marriage is very important in Islam. Marriage fulfills half of our religion, because when you marry, you are being obedient to Allah in what he wants for you; to have children and set up a household. The other half of our religion is salat, or prayers. Remember this, sister, and I am truly hoping you accept Islam. Peace.

I have no idea whether or not you'll find a husband. I just want to point out to *certain people* who have answered this question that Islam has a *wonderful* and very tolerant view towards women, unlike *many* laws in the Bible, which are ignored. However, there are pricks in any bunch, and if your future husband is a decent human being and follows his religion instead of western stereotypes and cultural cliches and atrocities, you will be one well-kept woman, I can assure you of that. Maybe you should look for yourself (and I'm talking to all you Muslim bashers out there) to look at the Qur'an or at least on websites that talk about women in the Qur'an. You'll be surprised to find out how much of the crud that's spewed out is exactly that: mindless ignorant crud.

There is no need to join any religion just to find a husband. There are 100s of men that would love to marry you, so find someone that shares your belief system what ever that is. Never change who you are to get a man. They aren't worth it.
