What if your family and religion beleives in god but you don't at all does it really matter. oh and do catholics beleive in god? i might be one but i don't beleive in him.

there you got it.... If you don't believe in God.... you are not a Catholic.... nor a Christian of any denomination.
I hope you get your priorities straight soon. You apparently are still young and will have some lessons comoing from the school of hard knocks.
I don't mean to sound hateful by any means... jsut being a realist.
What made you decide to come to this section? I notice you have not been here before?

You are not necessarily of the religion your family brought you up in. Once you are of mature mind, you have the independence to have your own beliefs and follow any religion you want. That is the part of growing up. Most people stick to the religion their family is but it is perfectly fine to deviate! Catholics do believe in God. If you do not, then you are not a Catholic and that's fine! The only thing is that it may not be fine with you family. But all families are different!

Is there some reason that you dont Believe in God has something happened in your life that you or someone else blames on God so you are mad at him or refuse to believe he exhists on the other hand yes you can believe in God and not be a catholic Millions Believe in God and are not catholic me for one Iam a Christian hope that helps Gorbalizer

If you don't believe in it, it's not your religion - it's theirs. You just happened to be related to them and didn't accept their belief system, for whatever reason. That's all there is to it. You can go on loving them and nurturing the relationship. What they do will be their choice - hopefully, they will respect your right to choose, if not your choice.
