The Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago has been ranked as the nations top rehabilitation hospital for 16 years running by U.S. News and World Report. You can visit their website at:
www.ric.org and you can follow the link to "online health resources" and search under paraplegia or spinal cord injury.

Their spinal cord unit is exceptional.

My brother is a quadriplegic, who broke his neck in a diving accident, so I have personal experience. First of all, your primary care physician should be able to recommend a good place for rehab. If not, check with large hospitals in your area for suggestions. I'd try calling some neurologists offices for suggestions. Most major cities have excellent rehab hospitals.. My brother went to Rusk in NYC, which is affiliated w/ NY University Hosp. In Boston we have Spaulding, which also, is excellent. Good luck to you.
