I'm 20 years old and have had a few boyfriends, but not really. I've never had sex because I want to save myself for a guy that won't leave me if I end of being pregnant because of it. I don't like any of the guys around here and want to sort of go around and find a guy that's more interested in the type of job I like so that we can talk and stuff. I get made fun of a lot because I'm like the only virgin in the town (besides people 13 and under of course) am I a loser? Or are my standards justified?

Anyone who calls you a loser probably isn't worth knowing. Think about it. Your situation is probably uncommon in this time but hardly worth making fun of.
Chin up. Bear one thing in mind though. Waiting until you are some arbitrary age or begin a relationship that feels permanent, that is no guarantee the man will never leave or stray. People will disappoint you, people will let you down. When you do have sex with someone and IF they do leave, you are still valuable.
Don't think your virginity is the most precious thing you have to offer. If you find yourself again looking for love at some time not as a virgin some time down the road, don't forget that you are a whole being, not a status. A prize as a package.
Also remember to never fry bacon in the nude. Good fortune in your pursuits.

being a virgin doesnt make you a loser but having the ideal to save yourself for guy who wont leave you if you get pregnant well you cant predict that you could be married and if the guy wants out he will leave regardless if you have a child or not thats a chance in relationships we all take i mean so what if he did leave it would be hard but you would survive he could have joint custody and help with the kid. your relationships shouldnt be based on this. i guess what you would like is to find someone with the same interest that you have and thats fine too. you oviously care about decisions you make with your life and this doesnt make you a loser those girls/guys teasing you about this are jealous because they have probably slept with half the town and dont have a plan for their future.

That doesn't make you a loser. It sounds to me like you're smart. Maybe a little bit of a prude, but that's a lot better than being easy. When you do find that interesting and trustworthy guy, you'll probably appreciate more than most. Just don't be gullible enough to think that a guy loves just because he takes your virginity.

Your standards are VERY justified..
Your not a loser at all....
In fact, more people should have the same outlook as you.
Your saving yourself from potential broken hearts....loser guys who wanna just sleep around....
And in the end when you have this great guy you've been saving yourself for...you'll be the one able to call your friends losers...Cause i'm sure you'll be very happy, cause it'll be something worth waiting for :)

NO UR NOT!!i know this isnt a religious question but thats actually why God said no sex b4 marriage cuz he didnt want a bunch of kids by a bunch of diff. men or a mom not knowing who the father is. u want to save it for someone special and there is no problem with that.they wouldnt call a nun a loser cuz she was a virgin so why the hell r they doing it to u??u got the right idea and hold on to it for ur husband and after ur married have hott wild jungle sex and dont worry about them.they just mad cuz they wish they would have waited

A free thinker is never a looser. It is a good idea to find a guy who you can communicate with. As far as sex goes some guys appreciate they are the only one. Most guys don't appreciate it much if you just sleep with them.
Lovers should be friends, you should have common interests if it is going to last.
Nobody's business but yours if you want to want for the right someone. No one has the right to pick fun. I wonder if they would still pick fun if they ended up with aids or syphylis.

Honey, you stick to your guns. Do NOT let anyone else dictate how you feel. Just because everyone else walks off a long pier, should you do it too? Of course not! Wanting to find someone you have things in common with and can connect with is an admirable quality and should not be dismissed because your "loser" friends like to talk big to make themselves appear to be more than they are! No ,your not the loser of being a virgin.I know what your going through.Who cares ur still a virgin they're just jealous cause they are sluts ,and you aren't& because u are saving ur virginity to marriage and thats good. be a regular girl and enjoy life u know. No one is a loser for who they are....so who cares if your a virgin, im a mormon, so i am saving my self till i get marrierd, and those are my standards and i live by them, i am not going to go out with anyone till i am 16 and i will not be pressured by some moron who thinks that they can use me.
