camera problems! and i have to take pics tomorrow!?
when i turn on my Sony cyber-shot DSC-W50, i cant take pics and thescreen says ACCESS. i can play the show of my pics, tho. but when i wanna take pics i cant do it cuz then it says ACCESS and tecameral lens pops in and out until it tells me to turn the power on and off again. also, the lens is smudged. i am using the camera's high amount of internal memory to hold my photos. how to mix these problems?

"Access" means the camera's processor is trying to access the internal memory or a Memory Stick. Because you are not using a Memory Stick, it must be having trouble with the internal memory.

Could your internal memory be full? Try deleting some pics, then see if you can take a new pic.

Or re-initialize your internal memory. Copy your pics to computer, then go into the Setup Menu and do a Format of the Internal memory. (Warning! This will erase all your old pics.) Now try to take a new pic.

Or re-initialize the camera's processor. Remove the batteries, then hold down the Power button for 30 seconds. Then wait 1 minute. Then put the batteries back in and see if you can take a pic.
