I think it should be 'allowed' as in not illegal, but if it is raised over our government buildings, as recently was done in Maywood, or is raised over our flag on the same pole as a sign of conquest, surely the groups of people doing that can understand why we wouldn't want to have them here.

No.
Its not against the law in a lot of countries, and isn't the US the land of the "free". We would look totally controlling and well, conceited by doing this.
Representing your heritage and family history is important and I think that if the US made this a law it would bring a lot of people down with that. I don't think its right to just lose all sense of history and culture just because you come to the US.
Also it would mean all embassy's (and the UN) here in the US would have to take down the flag of the country they represent, which is unfair.
I also think that people take this flag a little too seriously.
Just because you don't raise the American flag, or you raise another flag instead, it has NOTHING to do with your LOYALTY to this country

Just as the Islamofascists have sworn to wipe Western Civilization off the face of the earth, so illegal aliens (and their MECHA friends) have publicly stated their intent to out-breed Americans. Jail time isn't the answer. Stop the welfare payments, round up the parents and send them all back to Mexico. Let them fly their flag there.

I think if you are in this country that you have to raise (on top) the United States of Americana's Flag.

Of course other flags should be raised, but etiquette states no other flag should be higher than the US flag (when being flown in the US).

That is ridiculous, every embassy has the right to raise it's national flag. Although to be fair the embassy's territory is technically considered foreign land. However institutions and persons have the right to raise whatever flag they pledge allegiance to.

yes, it is country of many countries and each country has contributed to the whole. People of all nationality have shaped this country, any country flag should be welcome but unite in the effort to keep America free under one united flag and effort.

No, there should not be fines or other government intimidation.
Are you seriously saying that all corporate logos, all heraldry, all state and cultural symbols should be banned?
How far has this country descended into totalitarian fascism?
