But just a little smooch - they say you never forget your first time and this is my very first question .

Kissing,,,,

My question: if someone didnt kiss on the first date, but obviously liked you and you both enjoyed the date, would you want a second date?

Guy and girl opinions both welcome.

Some people are shy and they want to become more fond of each other before stepping on the pedal to the next level. Of course I would want a second date. Not many guys kiss the girl on the first date! Mostly the second because the guy needs to feel comfortable around the girl first before taking any action.

Hey Brooke,

Well first of all congradulations on your date and do not fret about the kiss girl!
Young men are so unable to accept rejection of any kind and the date in question was just worried about this. Did you offer just a little peck on the lips or the cheek? Did you tell him that you had a really great time with him?
Did you say: HEY GIVE ME A DAMN KISS GOODNIGHT BOYFRIEND OR DIE!!!!???
Whoops, that would have been a little too forward and I do not recomend that unless the guy is TOTALLY Clueless.
So anyhoo, he is nervous and a second date is in order and if he has not called you then call him and say "So, ya gonna ask me out again or what?"
Or, "What ya need lessons in kissing cuz we should learn together. Just like showering its better with two?
Whoa am I getting off on a tangent or what?
Back to it!

Boys, young adults, young men, men... OKAY all males are nervous and look for direction and clues from women on what to do. If you guy doesn't get the clue, give him a stronger one. If he still doesn't get it.... KISS HIM.
Hugs to you,
jeffrey

uh, im a girl... but seriously though. i dont think kissing is really that important on a first date. there are many people who look forward to receiving a kiss on their first date but at the end of the day it has to be mutual. the guy has to want it and so does the girl. and if they both did like each other, ofcourse you'd want a second date with them.

I would say definitely. A lot of times, it's better to take things at a slower pace. Call me old fashioned, but I'd say a kiss on the first date might be moving too fast, at least in some cases.

Second date, of course. I don't think you should feel pressured to kiss, hug, or hold hands until you feel it's right yourself. Obviously you view this as an important step in your relationship, but I would rush it.

My first kiss was with a girl on our 9th outting together. Even then I felt 'rushed' but at least it was because I wanted to.

No kiss on the first date is sweet and old fashioned. If you two like each other then definatly go for it.

they did not give first kiss it dosen mean you did not get the chance to get the second date may be they are nervious or they like to take things nice and slow. the second date is on. she will get the chance to go for second date.
