So many are searching for God on yahoo, i think it proves there is no existence :P

There are quite a few of us that simply enjoy learning about the beliefs of others and hearing perspectives of those who are of another faith.

I believe that people everywhere are searching for an answer! A lot of the reason for their searching seems to be that they have become dissatisfied with the main stream Churches who today tend to preach a social Gospel which not only can't help anyone but is a sure and certain path to hell. Tragically many Churches are more concerned with carrying out various forms of religious rites as a substitute for leading people to true repentance. There is no substitute for the real thing and people are left to search for themselves so what better way to find the Lord than have Bible believing Christians available. We look at what the Lord said in Matthew Ch.24 about the last days and his return and people need to be Firstly born again as spoken of by Jesus in John Ch.3 and ready to be caught up (raptured) People everywhere are search for the Truth and Jesus made it clear when he said "I am the way, the truth and the life"

People aren't really searching for God, but, the Religion/Spirituality section is a good place to discuss and debate God, Jesus, Religion, Spirituality. I don't see how people discussing on Y!A proves there is no existence, I don't get how you connect the two. You are making a giant leap there.

It is not just on yahoo answers - I think most people whether they are aware of it or not have a life long search for the mystical experiences.
Everybody is seeking God they just do not know it. Everybody is searching for that sense of power, fulfillment and joy. Human beings go for what they think will bring them pleasure. Sex, money, relationships, and other things that bring us pleasure are not bad. They just cannot bring you fulfillment, pleasure, or good that is lasting. This is a poverty consciousness which did not come from God, it comes from the ego. It is the ego mind that comes up with sex being bad, because of uptight religious thinking. It is the ego that has comes up with a conception that is not false but true. The idea that money is bad is not the issues at all but rather understand that money is not where God is. If you see money as God, then you look to money as that which God cannot give you. So what happens we end up being a slave to money when the way it was supposed to be like everything else God set up money is supposed to be a servant to you. So when you live from your spiritual self you come to the understanding that relationships, money, sex, and all other areas will be transformed. God never has or will demand sacrifice. Poverty scarcity or loss of any kind is not of God, but if you think the power in life comes from this world you are the one coming up with the ideas of poverty, disease and scarcity. God is the idea of unlimited abundance

How can the search for God proof that He doesn't exist. Some people know He is out there and will search for Him in any way they can. I think that is more proof of His existence.

Yait's pretty lame. On her people express their opinions, not nessisarily the facts. How could anyone find the truth on a place like this. For example, there's always questions about the LDS church (my church) and antimormons are always the first to answer with a "They are stupid and need to go to hell"- kind of thing. Everyone only shares their opinions, so how can ANYBODY trust those answers to find the truth. God cannot be found by listening to others. You need to take your own action, like prayer or the scriptures, to find Heavenly Father (God). I respect others opinions, but I would never find God on here. Never.

People have always searched in many things for God. Honestly I don't know why more people read the Bible. The book of John tells you everything you need to know about salvation.

God existenes just look at yourself..There is NOBODY else like you on earth. That proves you were DESIGNED!!by a creator.GOD.
