I know growth has to do with genetics. My mom is 5'0 ft also and my dad is 6'3. so have I finished growing or has my growth stunted? I really hope not cuz I hate it when my friends make fun of my height.

Get use to it and think of the $ you'll save on clothes.

At 15, you're probably pretty much done growing. You might get another inch or two, but probably not more than that, although some girls do keep growing until their 17 or 18. It's usually continual though - girls don't generally get a big growth spurt in their late teens like guys tend to. So if you haven't grown in a year or two, you're probably done. Supposedly girls generally grow for about a year after they get their first period, but I have no idea how reliable that is.

At 5'0", I wouldn't really say your growth has been stunted, just that you're kind of short. People will stop making fun of you in a few years. In the mean time, learn to walk in high heels.

if you have taken anabolic steroids that can stunt your growth. Height is determined by the complex interactive combination of genetics and environment. Genetic potential plus nutrition minus stressors is a basic formula. Humans grow fastest (other than in the womb) as infants and toddlers (birth to roughly age 2) and then during the pubertal growth spurt. You may be able to increase your height with human growth hormone, a prescription only your doctor can prescribe. I predict you'll grow a couple inches because your father is 6,3. the average height for women is only 5,4.

when i was 15 i had been 5 2 for 3 years and was very short

i resigned myself to my fate of being the shortest

then at 18 i grew another 2 inches!

so ladies dont stop growing till they are about 20 or so and guys it is mroe like 25 so there is still time

just be sure you eat a healthy diet meanwhile to be sure that your body will grow more if it is thinking of doing so

but if not then small is beautiful

Please don't worry too much. You're fine the way you are! Your growth hasn't been stunted... it normally slows for awhile. You will probably have another growth spurt or two, before you finally reach your max height at about 18 yrs of age. I'm 5'3" and it's not so bad. I'm sure you have many positive attributes. You stand very tall in the eyes of your "true" friends. Trust me.

Not at all. You sound very normal. At your age it is likely that your body is preparing for a growth spurt.

My uncle did'nt grow at all from 13 to 17 and from 17 to 18 grew over a foot. Ended up being a 6'7" State Trooper.

Remember to eat all of your vegetables! :-)

I'm 17 and only 5'1'' but don't worry, it's not bad down here, besides you'll probably grown a little bit more, but if you don't grow, don't believe that person who said you'd save money, that's just dumb, all you get is frustrated because every pair of jeans you try on is 6 inches to long and has to be hemed or just left down looking dumb...but good luck with growing taller!

If you're the same height as your mother than it's likely you're not going to get much taller. But don't panic, you may still grow a few more inches. My husband grew a few inches after he turned 19.
