Send him to an Indian Reservation. Native Americans know how to keep people warm.
I grew up in Maine and had friends who were Penobscot and MicMac. I was always warm in their houses.
Don't send him to a fishing village on the outskirts of Bangor!Barnabas lurks there.

Take them to LL Bean, and get them some nice warm clothes. I'm sure you'll probably keep your house cooler than what they're used to, so nice warm garments, including pajamas + blankets should certainly help.
