One morning before work, I knelt in my living room and asked Jesus Christ to be my Lord and savior. From that morning on eighteen years later, jesus is in my heart and at the center of my life.

I have experienced catharsis, the burning out of the central flaw in my character through art.
That's the central spiritual experience if you speak an Indo-European language.
I have met hundreds of people who call themselves spiritual and claim to personally have been saved by Jesus. Very well. Every single g*ddamn*d one of them, without exception, can be and often is shockingly cruel without realizing it. They've been saved into a state of self-hypnotized smugness. I've got a lot of data here --and-- no exceptions.
Almost makes me think their conversion was hysterical and unheartfelt, a band-aid.
I'm not saying Jesus doesn't exist. In fact, I myself once had a dream in which Jesus appeared. And I didn't ask him for anything -- which I find something to be proud of.

Depends on your definition of "divinity." Divine experience in my opnion would be a wonderful night of connection with somebody I love. Extacy (ex-statis, e.g., out of time) is even better. Yes, I've experienced that.
Actually, I have personally experienced Divinity and her girlfriend Faith. They cheated on me with a girl named Chastity.

Reading your question, I am reminded that you are fashioned by G-d, and for this I give thanks. I have never been touched by HaShemTov but everywhere there are hints, shadows of His passing. Have you?
