If everything was always good, and peaceful, and pure, and sin free, wouldnt' that get boring. What would you strive for? Why would you get up every morning? (btw, do you have to sleep in heaven?)

I'm not mocking, I really would like to know how Christians or Catholics see this. Thanks.

residing for an eternity interior an analogous form and in some position referred to as heaven might want to be boring as hell. Pun meant. luckily, it truly is not any longer how eternal existence works. quick precis - heaven and hell are places in the international, on your head. you stay many diverse lives in diverse kinds. which incorporates at a molecular aspect throughout the time of degrees of 'evolution'. Then the device, matrix, universe, God (besides the undeniable fact that you want to call it), information each thing and maximum persons do not shop in ideas previous lives etc. this does no longer propose we've not had them. The device is a few distance some distance more desirable wonderful that basically "residing continually". each existence teaches you training. once linked, you may benefit a state of nirvana. understanding each thing. desiring no longer something. also receives boring so we make ourselves very very small and are available back at the same time. We plan, then we do. Now we are doing and making plans. So truly we are the "gods"? we are getting into the Age of Aquarius, the era of the residing Soul. a change in aspect of knowledge. i'm anticipating a Golden Age - yet 2012 is the disclosing. this does no longer propose a short fix. the great thing about eternal existence is you discover strategies to experience free contained in the on the spot, the surely time which honestly exists. so that you're satisfied to attend! eternal existence is not basically attainable, that's actual. For each person. enable's see wha takes position. possibly the answer will be clearer contained in the subsequent 365 days or so.

Sorry, but there's no such thing as "eternity ". A few billion years from now our sun ( an "average" star ) will slowly turn into a red giant. Every planet in our system and everything else will be fried to a crisp. That is if the sun does'nt become a super nova and blow up first. No sun means no heat or light. Why only ask Christians ? What about Buddhists ? And many other religions in the world....

for what most people think of "heaven" yes!. But I believe in "eternal progression". Not only can we not even image what heaven has for us, but we will always learn and change for the better. BTW, I don't think we need to sleep, but that is an interesting thought.

PS. notice most here say that there will be plenty to do be don't say what. hmmmmmm.....

That's something I stressed over as a child...I used to wonder how we could sit around and read the Bible all day in Heaven. I was a child...reading the Bible didn't appeal to me. But it really freaked me out to think about...yep, I had a case of childhood depression....lol.

It would only be boring if Jeraldine Falwell, Patricia Robertson, Shauna Hannity, or Dr. Joan Dobson were there too.

why would we get bored, we get to walk the streets of the City of God, paved in gold, A river of living water that flows from the throne of God, trees of life that line the river, which bear it's fruit every month, it's leaves for healing, we will reign with Jesus, (don't think we'll just be sitting around). some of us will sing in chiors, sounds pretty cool to me!!

christians and catholics can't let go of their security blankey for long enough to ponder such things. instead of thinking, they like to just use scare tactics.

no, not at all.
we aren't going to be floating around all day doing nothing. we will be doing what we love to do. I don't know about you, but I would love to have eternity doing what I like doing.
