Stop with all these religion questions.
We can agree that we all have different views on religion, okay? I don't care if you're an Atheist or Animist or New Ager or Buddhist or Christian, we all just need to calm down.
Why are we wasting our time arguing about who we worship or don't worship when we can be worshipping or doing something else?
For all the Atheists, we know that you don't believe in any God. You don't have to brag. We get it. You don't think there is any Greater Power or anything.
(Now, I am a Christian, so from this point on, I may start taking my side accidentally. I am not saying that Atheists are stupid or anything, I'm just trying to be a peacemaker and not offend anyone.)
For all the Christians and Animists and Buddhists and New Agers and all that stuff: Good for you. You believe in something. That's not bad nor good, for if you set too much faith in something and it turns out to be wrong, you are torn apart; but, alas, you are living and breathing for only one reason: your God or Spirit.
Back to Atheists and non-believers: You may have turned this way because of the very reason I just mentioned. You may be afraid of believing in something because if that fails you, you have nothing. But maybe you are correct. Maybe that is not the reason for life.
Back to the believers: Why do you think we go to church? Why do you endure your kid's whining for having to go and then once they get there why do they endure it? When they reach a certain age they realize it isn't just sitting on a bench and listening to boring songs or kneeling and praying. They realize that this was why they were born, what their life is based on and what it will always be about. Almost all kids reach that around the beginning or the end of adolescence.
So, it doesn't matter what religion you are, whatever you believe in is your business and it doesn't matter what other people think. You definitely should not start arguments about your religion or it's rival. Let's just all get together and have some fun, and make this world a better place.
Sincerely,
Sandman

Contrasting the ways of the inexperienced with those of the prudent, Solomon says: “Anyone inexperienced puts faith in every word, but the shrewd one considers his steps.” (Proverbs 14:15) The shrewd one is not gullible. Rather than believing everything he hears or letting others do his thinking for him, he considers his steps wisely. Gathering all available facts, he acts with knowledge.
Take, for example, the question, “Is there a God?” The inexperienced one is inclined to go along with what is popular or with what prominent people believe. The shrewd one, on the other hand, takes time to examine the facts. He reflects on such scriptures as Romans 1:20 and Hebrews 3:4. In spiritual matters, a prudent person does not just accept the word of religious leaders. He ‘tests the inspired expressions to see whether they originate with God.’—1Â John 4:1.
How wise it is to heed the advice not to ‘put faith in every word’! Those entrusted with the responsibility to counsel others in the Christian congregation must especially take this to heart. The counselor must have the complete picture of what has transpired. He must listen well and gather facts from all sides so that his counsel is not unsound or one-sided.—Proverbs 18:13; 29:20.

What I cannot understand is why agnostics and atheists have to spend all their time posting weak, tired, and rude questions regarding God. If you don't believe in Him, frankly that's your choice and I do not give a rat's. But why spend all of your time and energy on something you do not believe in? What exactly is the point, except to mock others and try to make fun of them. Kind of a useless and lame pursuit. You are never going to change anyones mind who is a believer so why do you bother. Get a new hobby.
Why are non believers so obsessed with something that they supposedly have no interest or belief in??? It appears because you have nothing better to do than bash people. You might remember, that we do have religious freedom in this country. If you don't like that, then move to China! lol
P.S. Man, in case you did not realize this, has FREE WILL. He can CHOOSE to do wrong or do right. That is why you have "bad" people like you have mentioned. It's their fault, not God's. Just like this forum. You can come on and be an idiot or be nice. lol

I don't know what made you so angry. I do believe in God, and I do go to church. And in my experience neither is a waste of time. I know a woman by the name of Sarah Menet who died and came back. I have spoken to her about her experience and it is quite enlightening. She has written a book about what happened to her. There are others who have had similar experiences. I suggest you do a little more research.

God gave us free will. He did not make people bad. We have choices to make in this life time. We live our lifes to learn. Just do what you deep down know is right and you will be fine. If you want to be evil then you will never be happy until you choice to do good.

I always find it ironic, almost comical, when anti-theists post non-sensical rubbish on this forum and somewhere in their rambling refer to theists as "stupid." Look at the question, and try to tell me that it was posted by someone who's not.
