Tilapia, catfish and all that is avail everywhere, try some of the local favorites, for example Blackend Redfish is really good, a little spicy, other local dishes such as alligator tail (it really does taste like chicken), and scallops, grouper are all good choices and are probaly less than a a day or two out of the water.

I have an expensive suggestion, codfish.... the fish which has to be eaten hot or it will smell bad, if eaten hot you won't even tell that it is a fish, next parrotfish is also one good choice
