I'm traveling to Florida next week (near panama city) and I know there's going to be a LOT of fish on the menu's. Only, I'm not a big fan. I like calamari, coctail (must be very very cold) shrimp and McDonald's filet-o-fish. Can anyone suggest some dishes and describe how they taste comparing them to 'non flishy' foods? Thanks!
Kelly

Tilapia, catfish and all that is avail everywhere, try some of the local favorites, for example Blackend Redfish is really good, a little spicy, other local dishes such as alligator tail (it really does taste like chicken), and scallops, grouper are all good choices and are probaly less than a a day or two out of the water.

I have an expensive suggestion, codfish.... the fish which has to be eaten hot or it will smell bad, if eaten hot you won't even tell that it is a fish, next parrotfish is also one good choice

I love salmon, and I think it's the least fishy-tasting fish, but I like fish.
