Has anyone tried this kinda of sandwich? I have been reading some Sue Grafton books and the character in the books is always eating peanut butter and pickle sandwiches. So, I made myself try one once and it was suprisingly good!

Try a peanut butter & jelly & mayonaise and pickle sandwich. It sounds bad but tastes good.

I LOVE peanut butter, but that sounds disgusting. I think the best thing to put with peanut butter is marshmallow creme!

I am going to make a best guess that the character was fulfilling some childhood memory and since her family died, except the aunt, it was comfort food. I wouldn't try that combo unless I was pregnant.

my mom loves peanut butter and sweet pickle sandwich and it is very good so i guess i like it too!

LOL My wife tried one of those when she became pregnant. Was about 10 years later before she would eat peanutbutter after trying it.

They are great, Have eaten them for years. Peanut butter lettuce & mayonnaise is good too.
