No, you're not wrong. I think part of the issue with people pushing their religion on others is that they think if the other person had more info they'd change their minds and convert. So - they don't think they're forcing, they think they're saving and just providing more info. That's how it seems to me, anyway.

You are not wrong. There is no way to force someone to be saved. A gift cannot be forced. Salvation is a gift from God and is to be freely taken or rejected. That is where our "Free Will" comes in. God gives us the choice. He just wants us to make the right choice. If someone rejects Him it is only their own fault and will have noone to blame when they stand before Him one day.

God instilled a free will in each of us and each of us has the right to accept or reject His salvation. We, as Christians should witness to the non-believer and if they do not hear us, then we should keep them lifted before the Lord in prayer. We must realize that we can only water, it is God that gives the increase. Do not lose faith in witnessing. Take care!

I've been saved for 19 yrs. I agree. No one can be forced to be saved or believe. It's not that simple. It's a spiritual thing. Faith takes time and experience. You can't make someone believe.

You can't force anyone to get saved, because the choice to accept the gift of God is theirs.
Our job is to plant the seeds, the harvest is the Lords.

You are absolutely correct. You cannot force or coerce anyone into accepting salvation through Jesus Christ. The only way is for the holy spirit to draw them, after hearing the gospel and accepting it's message. They have to have a willing and open heart.

Jesus said, "No one comes to Me unless the Father draws him."
All you can do is plant, water or harvest. The Holy Spirit leads, if you will listen, in which part you are to play in someone's life. If you force anything, you damage what the Holy Spirit is working in someone's heart. Then you may even be working for the enemy. Its very important to follow the lead of the Holy Spirit in evangelism.

To be saved, you have to believe in the Lord whole heartily. You have to accept Jesus as your Savior and change your life to make it pleasing to the Lord. You cannot force someone to have faith or to believe in something with all of their heart. You can share the Word of the Lord with others and hope they seek the Lord for themselves. I only truly believed after feeling the power and the presence of the Lord.

That's right you can't!
all you can do is drop a seed, let God grow the plant!
Some seed will be dropped on rock and die, some in to weeds what will choke the plant to death, but every now and then a seed will grow and bloom, but that to is by the hand of God, nothing you did, other than drop the seed.

No, you're not. Making someone "believe" something is futile. It's doubtful the person actually believes--he/she would just go through the motions. Also, it would have to be a hollow "victory" for the person who forced the other into it.
