im going to be in basketball, I past the sports physical and i had heart problems in the past which I was only 1 I had heart surgury and I also had a had an heart murmur, so would u think I could still play bball or not?

No, there has been many of people, including many pros, who had been diagnosed w/ similiar conditions & who have died. ex. Reggie Lewis of the Boston Celtics & recently we had a 15yr. old die at football practice & found out he had heart problems. Get a 2nd or 3rd opinion.

"PAST" means time before now
"PASSED" as in a test or physical

I'm not a doctor so take my opinion for what it is worth, but you are a sweet, wonderful and lovely person: why would you take a chance that might make the rest of us lose the chance to get to know you.

You need to ask your Heart Dr. or your family Dr. don't take just anyones answer for something this important {your life}.

That can be a pretty strenuous sport (exercise is extreme) make sure your doctor gives you the okay. And take it easy, and take your medicine.

If you are concerned, why not speak to your dr. about this. Let him explain to you and your parents just what, if any, the risks would be.
