If they are so proud to be Mexicans, they should be in Mexico.

The US and Mexican government has dealt these people a bad hand. They are allowed to sneak across the border and obtain employment, the main reason they are here, by both governments. If they were all shipped home today the US would suffer a devastating financial blow. The illegals work for much less money than Americans will. The Mexican government is glad to have these poor people out of their country. Even though they have come here to find a decent living they are happy to bring their own country's traditions with them.
I agree with you that flying the US flag upside down was an insult and should not have been done but ... if they hadn't done it, who would have ever listened to their plight. Illegals can be picked up at any time of day or night and sent back to their homeland with nothing but what they have on their backs. For most, there is nothing waiting for them back home but adverse poverty. The recent marches and demonstrations are by a people whom both governments have allowed to come into the US but still treat them as sub human.
If the US government wanted to send them all home they would have done it by now. There speeches of either give them rights or send them home is just a smoke screen for them to do nothing.

Illegals shouldn't be flying anything. They should be escorted out of the country and given the boot.
The whole idea of illegals having any rights in the US is silly. It's frustrating.
They can FLY back across the border.

The American flag should always be on top of any other flag. If it isn't, then the loyalty of the individual appears to be their native country. If that is the case, go back.

Not everyone who is Hispanic acts like those who you may have seen on your tv. Most are hardworkers who just want to live. I do not agree with burning the US flag, and I do not agree you should live where you dont want to be, and I dont think you should live somewhere wanting the same rights and luxeries as its citizens all while saying you will never become one of them. BUT I am all for trying to better one's self, take care of families, and to teach the children right from wrong.
I think those who burned the flag should be punished however i dont think that everyone should be put in the same group as those who chose to act like that. that would not be fair. That would be like call ing all caucasians members of the KKK or african americans part of the Black Panthers... it is simply untrue...

Because their migration has nothing to do with jingoism, it's purely economic. Same could be asked about why american troops don't fly the Iraqi flag instead of their own..?

they aren't American so they have no appreciation for it. I don't think they should be allowed to fly any flag.
