Boot in safe mode to get around the password. Might as well buy a new one though. If you want to upgrade it your going to need
More RAM
New processor
New motherboard
New graphics card
New hard drive
New disk drive
USB ports
New OS
thats basiccly the whole computer. The only thing left is a shell. You might even need a new shell because it might not fit everything. So basicly the only thing that will be recyclavle is the mouse and keyobard. even that migh not work unless you get an adapter. Sorry to tell you but you just made a new computer.

that computer is already outdated. A pentium 2 nobody uses anymore. Youll have to get in touch with a hacker to break the password...thou sometimes even they cant get into them. Mine couldnt fix a friend of his whose laptop had a secutiry enabled system. So I recommend just getting a new computer cause your going to have to go through alot of grief to fix it.

find the Windows disc. insert the disc, restart the computer, and just reformat the whole darn thing. it's not like he had pictures and important files in it. just start over.

try entering into your computer's "safe mode" or also when booting up press F2 and go into your set up mode. on either/both try to enter in as the administrator and set/change password.
good luck!

Take it to a repair place and have them remove the battery. That will usually do the trick.
