Unfortunately you have to pay for quicktime pro. Or use a crack.

If you have a Mac, you might be able to use iMovie to edit .mov files. I can't help you if you have a Windows PC. Maybe you can find something here:

isn't that a QuickTime format? if it is, i think you have to use QuickTime Pro. Windows Movie Maker won't work.
