I feel my life will be useless unless i work for my country for my motherland INDIA. all other jobs seem a waste to me. I have got a job in mnc now and my family does not want me to let go of it. Should i chase my dream or do i just accept my fate. One thing for sure i will be never happy in my life if i dont work in an uniformed service that is sure.

DEFINITELY THE SERVICE OF ARMY IS VERY ENJOYABLE THOUGH THERE IS RISK OF LIFE BUT IT IS ALSO IN THE CIVIL LIFE. ALL THE PARENTS NEVER ALLOW THEIR SON WHERE THERE IS RISK OF LIFE. BUT YOU CAN VERY WELL EXPLAIN THEM THAT WHEN PERSON DIES IN AN ACCIDENT OR IN EARTH QUICK ETC. ETC. THE MAN DOES NOT GET ANY RESPECT. WHEN A SOLDIER DIES FOR THE COUNTRY. WE ALL PRAISE HIS SERVICES AND RESPECTABLY CALLED HIM "SHAHID"

You seem to be little confused at this juncture. It appears that you must be between 21 to 25 yrs old, with a job in hand.

You seem to be fascinated by uniform. It is your perception that wearing a uniform/ joining services only would mean 'serving' the Nation.

No, my friend. Every person working sincerely, with a sense of accountability, is serving the Nation. No denial that Services are a great option but the romantisism is perhaps best satisfied when you start at an early age, say 19.

With a job already in place, you would rather do well to go with the 'present' than chasing a 'wild Goose'. After all, Happines is a state of mind and one can be Happy 'As is where is'...

"All the Best"

You need to inform your true feelings to your family.

Show this to your family.

There is danger every where, there are no guarantees in life, more people died and were injured in few minutes in world trade center towers incident in then on any battle fronts..........

During Atomic raids, more people died in few second in Japan who were not even in uniform.

During bombings lots of civilian also die.

Said enough.

But.

You can still serve your country, be a legislator, be a good politician, be a good honest government servant.

Make your family happy, be proud and be happy.

It is always proud to serve your own particular nation through the armed forces. You should never let anybody, regardless of how close they are to you about what to do with your life. You should follow your dream and do it! It's your life, you will have to live with your results, eventually, things change and your family will grow used to it. Follow your heart and you'll never go wrong.

Go to happy an unfortunate fate would only be your choice .
Enjoy your life do what you want it's your right your freedom and your life .. Don't let others super-impose their will upon yours ,especially when you are so decidedly committed...
If you are not happy then u have lost the true meaning of life...

You answered your own question - do you want happiness or not? No one should have to settle for less than they want. Choose what you love, and your family will see how happy you are and accept it - or they won't, but you'll be living your dream.

Maybe your family is worried about you being in danger. How about starting at some lower level of danger than ARMY or POLICE, like security guard at a hospital or for a store? I dont know how it works in India, but here in the states, security guards wear uniforms, but rarely encounter violence.
good luck!

Do what you want to do. Join the Army/police force if you want, and don't worry about what you family thinks.
