There are still lifelong relationships? I have been with the same man for more than thirty five years. But then again I have friends I have had a lifetime.
I think people don't have lasting relationships because are always looking for someone better (the grass is always greener) or they forget the other person is human and not perfect.
Any relationship is like a job. You have good and bad days, but you have to put in the effort to make it successful.
Perhaps if people would learn to cultinate long term friendships with the opposite gender first, and not rush into the intimate relationship, they will have a solid basis for a last relationship. Relationships are not based on sex, rather enhanced by it.

Good question. We live in a throw away society and marriages are too easy to just give up on and move on. We need to change our morals and our society back to the way it used to be. But that is a pipe dream and it will never happen again so I guess we have to deal with the constant changing of partners in our life.

Somebody tell me. This whole world is getting so mixed up and messed up, nobody can seem to live a good, clean life anymore. The family is being torn apart at the seams, and no one can stop it.

What happened? People stopped wanting to be commited. The only thing they wanted was to score. When they messed up and had a kid they realized that 'scoring' wasn't as fun as it sounded.
