I am an attractive woman who enjoys sports...mostly baseball, but also football as well. I like watching sports on TV and also like playing them. The problem is that when I start dating someone, I often get stuck in the "buddy" zone because a lot of times, what we have in common is a love of sports. The more we talk about sports, the more he starts thinking of me like a buddy. I try to steer the conversation to other topics that highlight more of my feminine qualities but sometimes, it's too late because I am already in the buddy zone. Are guys just not interested in women who like sports?

I don't think it is guys not interested but maybe you unfortunately picked the wrong guys. One of my exgirlfriends hated sports and would never want to watch or go to any sporting events. It would really suck at times because I love watching football on Sunday afternoons and she did not want to be a part of it. Some guys do kind of place sports as a guy thing. When you find the right guy he will enjoy watching sports as well as playing them with you. Good Luck.

Some guys are interested in girls who like sports, but there arent many of us who do. Man, do I hate getting stuck in the 'buddy' zone, that happens to me too. You should keep the fact that you like sports down for a while until you start dating.

I'm a guy who simply loves girls who are into sports. But more playing than watching. Watching other people run around while i'm sitting on my butt makes me feel lazy, and I don't like to feel lazy :)

There are some guys who are interested in girls like you and have probably been looking for a girl like you for a very long time because you aren't very common :)

I hope you find the guy who'll appreciate your qualities the way you want to be appreciated and will feel lucky to have found an amazing girl like you. Good luck :)

Yes Virginia there is a Santa Clause ....... Try this ...when your a couple and he keeps dragging the conversation back to sports ... make a rule ... if he wants to speak about sports he must be wearing a jock strap ...... if he still talks sports ... run like hell ......this is no person to take into public ... if he gets the hint ... rock on!

Or just don't talk sports ....
