The only way to be sure is to check into the law for your state at www.hslda.org

Depends on where you live. Are you 16? If you are not, you cannot withdraw yourself. You need your parent or guardian. Then, depending on where you live, you can sign up for homeschooling which is under the jurisdiction of the public schools (recommended, b/c if you ever go back, they may not accept other forms). They will provide the curriculum for you and at the end of the year, you get a review to make sure you go on to the next grade. OR, there are private home school organizations you can enroll in. Tuition varies from almost nothing to thousands. You must get educated about these before you do anything.

It is usually a good idea to pull out during a school break. Your parents might want to join the Homeschool legal defense association (hslda). You also need to check the laws of the state in which you live. The HSLDA website has info on the laws in all 50 states.

Your parents need to fill out a "intent to homeschool" form. You can get them at the board of education. That is how it goes in CT. I don't know where you are from???? It might be different in your state. You need to research that.

In your last question you said your mother was going to remove you and you were going to stay home while she waited for her resignation to take effect. I'm assuming she has looked in to homeschooling and she knows what to do?
And since you are in Texas (from your other question) your mother has to show a letter of intent. You, as a child, do nothing.
the letter of intent prevents you from being reported as a truant, something I mentioned in my last response to your last question. I am in Texas, plus I was the director of a homeschool group for two years, so I have a pretty good understanding of what to do.

You need to have approval for home schooling first unless you are over compulsary age. Then bring paperwork to the school and say goodbye
