Absolutely NOT. Fresh fruit has sucrose in it, which is natural, digestible sugar. It is more important to cut down on VOLUME of food, and avoid soft drinks like Coke.
EAT fresh fruit, but avoid donuts, cakes, Twinkies, candy, fast food like hamburgers, and do NOT eat ketchup, it is 50% sugar. A can of cola has about ten teaspoonfuls of sugar in it.
