I know that in animals it takes a few days but if a person ingested it how long would it take? or does it depend on how much they drank?

As a chemical diagnostic, it totally depends on how much you drank and if the antifreeze was 100% or diluted. In either case, I could recommend if you did drink antifreeze (intentionally or accidentally) seek immediate medical attention or dial 911!

call animal control or your local animal shelter. Some of them will set traps free of charge. If that doesn't work, contact your county health department. Around here the county will get involved due to a rabies scare we had a couple years ago. Good luck edited. I'm sorry that animal control wasn't helpful to you. Next step is to call your county health department. Leaving antifreeze out is very dangerous. You could effect many animals other than the ones you are trying to get rid of...birds, neighborhood dogs/cats, squirrells, etc. If the county health department can't help you with live traps, ask them what they recommend. They may know a humane alternative since animal control/county health department deals with this sort of problem a lot.

People should not be answering this question! Stop it, people! Assume that the person asking this is asking this for themselves.
Listen, the fact that we have been given a life when there were so many others that lost their's should not be taken for granted.
If you're asking this because you want to take your own life, then just stop! Talk to someone professional, or anyone that cares at all about you...friends, family, neighbors, even people at work. Things can not really be THAT bad.
And, if you're not contemplating suicide, then stop asking ridiculous questions that might give others ideas.

it depends.
first of all i think it would take 8 oz. and second of all you'd barf it up... living, unhappy and feeling like crap but you'd live.
and i think you'd have heartburn for days and days...
and like you'd have to see a doctor ya know.
poison control should know these statistics.
