If you honestly feel that marriage is a prision then you obviously are married to the wrong person. Marriage is the greatest gift in the world. I've been successfully happily married to my soul mate for the last 12 years and can't wait to wake up next to him every morning and kiss him goodnight every night. I can't wait for eternity together

Marriage is not a prison anymore. Society has made it TOO easy to be able to get out of a marriage. I agree that if a man is beating his wife, the wife shouldn't have to stay. But, if someone is breaking up with someone because they didn't clean the house right or they spent over budget that month and so on and so forth that is stupid. People do not even try to work out their problems anymore, because people do not value marriage anymore. So no, marriage is not a prison.

Marriage is only a prison if you let it be. It should be a partnership. You can have more freedom and security in a marriage than being "free".

Depends on who you are. I don't think marriage is a prison. But this guy I hung out with once who said he would never be able to stop cheating ended up getting married. I think this quote fits him perfectly.

An adage goes like this,'Weddings are made in Heaven'.After marriage there in no sight of Heaven, may be one cannot see Heaven from Hell,I presume.Still we are all sadists to live in prison with a life imprisonment served on us.I wonder how 'bigamist' or 'polygamist' manage with two or multiple life imprisonments."wife" -Worries invited For Ever and "life' -Life Invaded For Ever.
