Indians live on a more spiritual level not necessarily liberal.
They respect nature, take only what they need, they live in real truth and are not into materialism like Americans. The beliefs they have in life are also on a higher level than Americans
Americans are lost in what they can buy, what they can have, what externally will make their life better....they are always looking out, never in. The spirit is lost, life meaning is lost.

Haha, im indian
well
1) Populationof india is much greater than that of the U.S.
India has the fastest growing economy
U.S. used nuclear weapons (its the only nation in fact :) )
3)They don't, im indian and i don't take too much literaly neither do my friends. But some of the older indain adults will, just maybe beacuse of the language barrier, and i don't believe they are as accustomed to the sarcasm and joking thing.
4) Hinduism involves the belief in many gods, but in one universal spirit called brahmin.
We Christians however believe in one God straight up...a little bit more simple. But there are a lot more divisions of Christianity than Hinduism. We believe in the life after death...Hindus believe in moksha (life after death but only afterexit from the rebirth cycle), but reincarnation is a major part.

1. India is very poor and have no freedoms.
America has freedom of religion and the ability to get ahead. born poor there in india you stay poor no matter how hard you work. Have people who think they are better than others in India.
Don't know nothing about Germany
Don't think Indians do take things literally, live on Indian nation and know lots of indians. They are the same as anyone else.
Don't know about hinduism.

4) Hindu's believe in reincarnation, Christians in Heaven or Hell. There is also no hell for Hindus. We also believe that they are many doors to heaven, not just through Jesus. God can descend many times to earth in the form of avatars to aid and assist mankind in times of needs. We also have many living saints and don't require years of testing and questioning to prove them. I was raised Christian, but have found comfort in the philosophy and openness of Hinduism.
That being said, there is a lot more similarity between the two then there are differences. The 10 tenants of Hinduism are similar to the 10 Commandments, though they came 1000s of years earlier!
