I feel you on the naive thing.I do not believe in evil,only varying degrees of lack of love.Much the same as the second law of thermodynamics that says there is no such thing as cold,only lack of heat.

The love that binds molecules into matter.The love that brought together the water vapor,amino acid cloud and the carbon molecule to form life.The love of humans and their nature.The love that makes the hydrogen and oxygen atoms compatible to make the water that we so desperately need to survive.Love man,dont you get it?Anywhere there is love,evil can not exist.If you act with love in your heart you can never do anything evil.God is love folks.PERIOD!

All of this Jesus stuff and religion just serves to cloud the issue.We need to get down to the meat and taters of the matter and scrap all of that man made crap.That was concocted by the George Bushes of the times.They sought to rule through numbers.Why cant anyone see this?

my belief is yes, that's true, though anyone Else's belief may differ.

That's just like saying the war in Iraq is the fault of every single person who lives in England and The United States, thus JackBauer you should be held accountable. How absurd would that be? Same thing goes for God.
Now, I am in no way trying to disrespect you by saying this, it's just I do not understand where the logic in saying God is not loving because people are killing in his name.
I apologize if it seems I am singling you out. If someone else would have posted that same reason I would have used them to make my point. I am not in any way trying to disrespect you, and If it seems as though I have I am heart-fully sorry. I am not judging you or saying that your beliefs are wrong, I could be completely wrong for that matter. I just would like to know why some people blame God for the bad things in the world.
The individuals who kill in the name of a certain religion are the only ones who should be accountable for their actions. Not the Religion itself, or God.

No, not quite me. Because I see God/a higher power in things other than love, and I see love apart from God. I might say that love originates from/in God. Tough question!

i can to many people spit that word up as if its a man its not its love nothing more we all die an we ALL go to the same place no heaven no hell we die that's it its nice to think there's a place after death but in reality there's not face it people we ALL go to the same place `but believe in what u want
