Medication doesn't in with alcohoal. I believe it is clearly written on the pack, not to be taken with alcohoal. Sorry about your situation, just take plenty of water, or see your doctor.

Xanax is a benzodiazepene, and benzos and alcohol have an additive effect. This means that 1 + 1 = 3 or more.
It can be dangerous to mix alcohol and xanax. It sounds like your stress level is sky high and you may need a better plan to manage your stress.
Don't know about the pain. I'd check with my doctor about what else I could do. Relaxation, exercise, meditation, talking to someone about what's bothering you are all things that you could do. Good luck.

The Xanax should help you to sleep. I think you have hypertension, and that could very well be causing the pain that you are experiencing. It sounds like the Xanax isn't working for you plus xanax is not a drug for the treatment of high blood pressure.
You really should not drink with Xanax, because the combination can overly depress the nervous system.
The best thing to do is talk to your doctor. You need something for your high blood pressure and something for the pain that you have. You may also need another type of medication for your anxiety. Drugs like diazepam or Klonopin may work better for you than Xanax because they build up in the system, whereas Xanax wears off quickly.

I take xanax myself and it is not a good idea to take any kind of prescription medication with beer or any other alcohol. You might want to tell your Doctor what is going on with the dizziness, the xanax might be the wrong medication for you. If you continue to drink while taking xanax, it could end up taking your life.Oh by the way alochol tays in your system for over 24 hours.

Alcohol alone will make your blood pressure go up & with it goes up your heart rate. Xanax is to calm a person down. Being stressed can give you a stiff tensed neck & shoulder. You aren't suppose to drink heavily with Xanax. You could have killed yourself.
Make an appointment with your doctor, maybe change your meds if not working for you. Quit that drinking.
Hope you get well.

Do not take tranquilizes and alcohol together. Not a good combination. Sounds like the combination put you into such a knocked out state of sleep, that you laid on you right arm and shoulder in such a numbing position that it caused the symptoms you had the next day. Find out more about the side effects of xanax, sometimes these drugs can cause the same symptoms of anxiety that they're suppose to treat.

If you are taking Xanex you most likely do have problems with anxiety. Xanex is a "downer" (as opposed to an upper like speed or cocaine) and it can be DEADLY to mix both of them, so PLEASE don't mix them again! I would guess the stiffness you are experiencing is from stress as well. See about taking up Yoga, or learning about progressive relaxation techniques (on line, through a book store) or see a therapist, which could be very beneficial in working with your stress and anxiety. many people's stress manifests itself through bodily issues, including pains. Best bet is to see a therapist and learn some coping techniques and if you want to talk about your stressors and why you are experiencing so much anxiety you can.
Good Luck!

Ummm maybe the burning and tingling is from tossing back one too many. Do you drink often? Maybe you used muscles that you arent used to using OTHERWISE....Can it be called not drinking with your meds because they interact?
