Kickboxing, like all martial sports require only 2 componants to develop excellence. 1. Mushin....that is an empty cup. the ability and willingness to let go of what you think you already know and absorb that which is taught
2. Time on the deck or in the ring

I learned first by going along with DVD- not worried about others watching my lack of coordination. Eventually I was up to speed with the DVD instructor. REpeating the same moves over and over in time with the instrutors count or music helps. You can do it- keep at it. Practice in a room at home when no one is watching and you will get it.

i had the same problem as blackie basset. the key is to squat a little bit to lower ur center of gravity

lol.. I had totally sucky balance.. now?. I can exude a massive impact with the ball of my foot..no problem breaking ribs, arms legs....2x4's...........sculls..lol
