Those are too few calories for the kind of aerobic exercise you're talking about - 4 hours of dance, dance revolution?! You're either crazy or obsessed. Do you really think 8 (read it: eight) pounds will make any kind of difference whatsoever? For that kind of self-abuse? If you're hugely obese, I can see wanting & needing to do something drastic like starvation diet & exercise till you drop, but chances are, you're not. If you are, please consult a doctor. If you're not, yes, cut out the junk food, eat lots of fruits & veggies, and do exercise. Within reason, and keep a balance in the rest of your life's activities.

If you are NOT overweight, & you are planning to go on 1000 calories/day then you have a problem far greater than losing 8lbs by October.

yes you can but not by eating 1000cal a day... (1000 is too low)
it has to be a proper exercise and a balanced meal
you see that fats in the body is around 3500cal per pound of fat worth of energy stored so in order to use that you must make a slight deficit of 10~20%(20 is max more than that most likeky you'll include muscle)
check your BMR(basal metabloic rate) and make a plan

Instead of starving yourself which you will only be able to keep up for a couple of days, try a good weight loss supplement that will help you curb your hunger and speed your metabolism. Good weight loss supplements are hydroxycut Hardcore, Lipo 6, Jet Fuel and Zenalean Pro

Yes you can. I lost five pounds by doing that and it only took me 2 weeks and 5 days. If you have a good matabalisom, you may be able to loose it sooner. Good Luck!

Again, no!
Your body will assume it's being starved and go into emergency energy-saving mode. Read: the metabolism goes down in order to keep the reserves.
