You can swim with dolphins at Walt Disney World, at the Living Seas Pavilion at Epcot. They offer a few tours there. My boyfriend and I did the Sea Aqua Tour a couple weeks ago. It was awesome, we got to go swimming in the aquarium tank with all the fish, sea turtles, stingrays, and sharks. They have another similar tour, but you go out back and swim in a pool with the dolphins. It's really cool. They show you the behind-the-scenes area of the aquarium and you learn all kinds of interesting stuff about Disney and the animals. They give you a t-shirt and photograph at the end. The tour is called "Dolphins In Depth"...

There's also Discovery Cove. I'd definitely recommend that! You can go swimming with dolphins, plus all kinds of other stuff. They have so many different pool areas. You can swim with stingrays in one pool and tropical fish in another. There's an aviary and a tropical river. You can stay there for an entire day if you want. Food's included. You can go to the website and order a free brochure. I did that.

Have fun with whatever you choose!

Discovery Cove is right across the street from Sea World. It is the only place I know of where you can actually swim with the dolphins. Be prepared, it is steep!! I believe it was $289 per person BUT it's an all day thing with snacks and lunch included; wet suit & "hands on" animal training...etc..
If we hadn't already gone to Universal and Sea World and on our way to Disney, we would've done it. We are definitely planning to on our next trip to Orlando!!

You can swim with dolphins at Sea World but it's really expensive. I think it's around $300 a person. I am not sure what the age limits ect are though.

If you want to stay in Central Florida and visit the parks (Disney, Universal, etc...) then you're only chance is Discovery Cove.
If you have no preferrence, then I'd say go down to the keys. Either Key Largo or Key West would be your best bets. Just make sure you review the weather forecast before you book your vacation.

You can pet dolphins at Sea World. If you arrange it early enough in advance you can even dine with Shamu there. BUT, if you want to swim with dolphins, you need to go across the street to Discovery Cove.

The ultimate is at the dolphinarium at the beaches next to Perth in Australia.
The various Seaworlds along the coasts are fairly understanding about those questions but don't count on it.
The various coves in the Yucatan and Baja Peninsulas have good times and are good except when you end up with sick ones.
The best are with Club Med and only run $120.00 per person.
Enjoy.

If you go to Riviera Maya, just south of Cancun in Mexico, they have great zoos and my recommendation for a hotel is the Palladium Grand Resort. its all you can eat, great beaches and attractions, fun kids shows, and there is snorkeling, and fish swim around you if you hold out a piece of bread in the water.
