now my eye is real sensitive to light...have to have house dark.and wear sunglasses?? any eyedrops??

You need to leave it alone and let it heal by itself.

There's an old herbal remedy called arnica. It really does make bruises, including black eyes, heal faster. You may need to phone around to find it. Most health food stores should stock something containing arnica (pronounced AR-nick-uh.) I think one of the brand names is ArniFlora or something like that. A friend uses it and says it works really well.

I've actually heard that a piece of raw steak, cold, and large enough to cover the eye X 15 min., 4 times a day. Use same piece). Special effects.... I don't know. Or you could just eat the steak and forget the whole thing........SEE YOUR DOCTOR.

Other than putting ice on it, I'm not sure you can do anything else. maybe wear a patch over that eye part of the day to make yourself more comfortable?

It's just like a bruise. Well, it IS a bruise. You know how long those normally take. I reccomend getting some concealer. No one wil know. Hey, my brother did it.

Just have to wait.....I had one recently and it took about 2 weeks before it was totally gone.
