Dead is dead...and frankly that's what i want to be, when the coroner pokes that thermometer in my liver, and puts me in the zippered black bag. When he autopsies me, and cuts open my chest, and weighs my heart. When the mortician f*cks my body, and then dresses me in something my family picked out, (something I wouldn't be caught dead in! HA!) And when they close that airtight box, and lower me down, and put six feet of dirt over the top...yeah...dead....and then there's the bugs, and worms!

I am below average so do not worry about me. It is not going to be nerdy. Your name lives forever if you die a hero, or scientist that left an invention like that of Thomas Edison, Albert Einstein and many more that left so many things that until now its purpose is still being used. You are almost alive or in heaven if you are considered great in the world that changed history.
You are dead forever when nobody remembers you after long time till your own generation or your circle of people who knows you no longer are there to remember you. Some people are completely dead if he have just existed and then die without leaving any mark so great that he can be remembered forever. Of course, nothing is forever as time changes like the dinosaurs or the mammoths. Their fossils may be found but that does not mean they are alive today. Yes once you are dead, you are dead forever but there are names that stays alive in the hearts of men because they left a legacy.

Once your dead you could come back to life as something else or be energy in the universe. Nobody knows so you can't really agree or disagree with anything relating to what happens after death because nobody will ever know.

Jesus demonstrated there were two types of resurrections, to life on Earth, as he did with Lazarus, and the spiritual life. No, your body is not raised, as the elements from past deaths in the last 6 thousand years are mixed in with everything we eat, as well as the dust we breath. What they were and knew is written in the book of life, ready to be placed back in their new bodies.
Christ body was destroyed to fulfill the convenient of David is that the flesh of the lamb had to be burned, so he became a spiritual being. Those raised in the rapture receive a spiritual Resurrection. All the others are raised in the "second resurrection" to life on Earth, but hey will not marry or be given in marriage.
So yes, when you are dead, you are dead. Your body will not rise again, instead you get a whole new one.

There is no evidence in the Bible that suggests we come back and live a different life. In fact.....
For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive what is due him for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad. 2 Corinthians 5:10

We all become one with the forc... no nerds?
Well then, Yes, you stay dead, then your soul goes to it's resting place where God deals with it accordingly. You will not come back, but you have a conciousness of some sort.

There is a second death.....
Revelation 20:11-15
11 I saw a great white throne and the One who was sitting on it. When the earth and sky saw his face, they ran away. There was no place for them. 12 I saw the dead, great and small, standing in front of the throne. Books were opened. Then another book was opened. It was the Book of Life. The dead were judged by what they had done. The things they had done were written in the books. 13 The sea gave up the dead that were in it. And Death and Hell gave up their dead. Each of the dead was judged by what he had done. 14 Then Death and Hell were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death. 15 Anyone whose name was not written in the Book of Life was thrown into the lake of fire.

I disagree! The Bible says that Christians won't even taste death. Once a Christian dies, he or she is instantly in the presence of the Lord. After the Judgment, Christians will be reunited with their resurrected physical bodies. The Bible says that we will have the same Body that Jesus has. One that is able to walk through walls, float on clouds, able to be seen, be felt, and able to eat.
