Yes Girlfriend! I feel you. I lost my last 20 of 60 lbs. on a juice fast. Duration 30 days. (This was more than two years ago. I have maintained my smaller size) I brought a juicer and juiced every other day. Juiced organic apples, oranges, grapes, beets, celery, greens , spinach, cabbage, strawberries, sweet potatoes, etc. (organic is best and taste better too)

I juiced everything using apples as my base juice, and added 2-3 additional items and it all tasted good. The apples make anything taste good (fruit or vegetable). Taste as you create your juices.

The first 3 - 5 days maybe tough because your body is eliminating toxins. (headaches, dizzness) but hang in there and you will reach peacefulness and strength. You will feel better than good.

I had a gum problem in my mouth and the fast healed it.

I juiced, excercised with weights, walked and prayed. At the end of thirty days I was 20 lbs. lighter. It was so easy and I felt so wonderful and strong. Worked in my yard and everything...hard labor. Now I fast often.

Before this I tried everything to lose weight! I even tried that stuff that cost $157.00 a bottle, ( 2 bottIes didn't work) gained 4 pounds.

I've shared juicing with family and friends and it's worked for all.
Just work it out in your head before you start. Eat lite a week before you start and build up to it. If you fail--start again.

I've also lost on smoothies, but it takes longer. What makes juice fasting work, is your body doesn't have to work hard digesting food so your body is allowed to work repairing and eliminating anything that does not belong or that is not needed; such as tumors, fat cells, some cancers, inflamation, and the like . Fasting is what God bulit in us to heal ourselves. It's natural to not be hungry when our bodies are weak or sick. There is a God-reason for it.

Check it out! There is a lot on the net regarding juice fasts. And lots of recipes. Go to your local juice bar and get their menu for ideas.

One last thing. About week two or three you will stop having bowel movements. Which make sense, but it scared me. Until I found research stating this was normal and expected, which settled my mind. For me it was a wonderful and fruitful experience.

Continued success demands a life change, with good healthy eating habits and committed excercise.
Best of luck to you.

I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.

The plan was so refreshing and so simple to follow. I did everything plan said and lost 23 pounds in the first three weeks. I'm now starting the diet again to lose 7 more pounds. This plan has changed my life.

Get started today!

You can go on a liquid diet, but you cannot live on one. Try cutting out all foods containing white flour and sugar...guaranteed to lose weight!

if you hope to lose weight and keep it off, you need to avoid the fad diets, and try something you can actually stick with. this usually means eating sensibly (but not depriving yourself all the time, every time), and getting exercise. you've heard it before - diet and exercise, diet and exercise. it's not the easy way, but it's the only way that works in the long-term. also try strength training - you can add muscle, which causes your body to burn calories even while you sleep!

good luck!
