If the Crystal Springs Golf Resort in Vernon, New Jersey is the one you speak of, the golf course opened in 1992. It's rated as one of the top 25 "new" courses in Golf Digest. "The Jersey Golfer" called it the best public course in New Jersey. It is also considered to be one of the harder layed out courses in the northeast. The championship tees measure out to be a bit more than 6,800 yards. The course was designed by Robert von Hagge of Houston, Texas.

The signature hole is the par 3 11th hole. There are trees up 80 feet on a cliff in the background of your first shot.

The black tees are 6,808 yards. The blues are 6,361 yards. The white tees add up to a total of 5,874 yards. The red tees are 5,111 yards.

Here're the course/slope ratings:
Black:74.1/137
Blue:72.1/132
White:69.7/126
Red:70.5/123

The fairways, greens, and tees are all made of bentgrass, while the rough is made of a combination of ryegrass and bluegrass. Five holes contain water and there are a total of 58 bunkers. Some helpful services include a beverage cart, club rentals, and lessons.

The actual address of the club is:
One Wild Turkey Way
Hardyston, NJ 07419

For tee times, call (973)-827-5996.
