I have a land-line phone but I can't figure out the phone number of it. I've tried calling phones with caller-id with it, but it is a private number so I can't do it that way, is there another way?

Get a No Cost Phone Number Scan at https://biturl.im/aU04b

Its a good way to start. The place lets you to do a no cost phone scan simply to find out if any telephone data is there. This basic alalysis is done without cost. For a full detailed report its a modest payment.

Here's Reverse / Whose Number Lookup page. If you're talking about cell phones, you usually have to pay for that. I've had pretty good luck just using Google a phone number to find out who's calling. If you are researching a quantity of numbers, though, I suppose, you might want a service. I can't imagine why the average person would need to research a quantity of numbers, though, so I assume this is business-related, and it then seems only fair that you pay for a service. But maybe it's not.

Call the phone company and ask them, or maybe if you have a bill it would be listed on there.

There may also be a sequence of numbers you could dial to find the phone number, but I don't know what that would be. Maybe if you got papers when you signed up for the phone line there could be something you can read to figure it out.

Wait for it to ring, then ask the caller, "What number did you dial?".
Telemarketers will try to help you if you play them right, just let them think that you are mildly interested until you get the number, then shut them down.
Even if it was a wrong number most people only mis-dial one or two digits at the most.
Write them all down and look for a pattern.
Or try dialing them and see if the number is busy.
If it is you can call one of your Friends and tell them to try to call you at this number. Wait 5 minutes and then call them back.
Or, if they call you, you have found it!

Seriously, check the phone book, no, not for your name, but for the instructions on how to un-block the caller ID.
Do as the instructions say, then call your Friend with the caller ID phone, and there you go. Now follow the instructions to block the number again, because the rest of the women in the shelter don't want the number to show when they call some-one.

Wait for your phone bill to arrive? Go online and check your online phone company account. Call the operator and ask her? Call 911 and ask them, but you will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law for wasting their time and endangering lives.

Have a look in the front of your white or yellow pages. There should be instructions in there as these are delivered by your phone company.
