There are alot of ideas...actually most everything that you can make on top of the stove you can make in the slow cooker.
Some ideas might be:
1. Beef and cabbage rolls. Make per usual just pouring 1 46 oz can of tomato juice over the rolls (12 rolls) put on low and cook for 6-7 hrs.
2. Meat loaf--1 1/2 lbs ground beef etc., and cook on low for 5-6 hrs.
3. Beef Stroganoff-3-4 lbs boneless beef steak, 2 cans broth, 1 lb sliced mushrooms 1 evelope of onion soup 1 can regular coke, 2 envelops gravy mix, 2 cups sour cream (add only just before serving) and hot cooked noodles. Mix all but sour cream and noodles, cook on low 6-7 hrs., then remove beef and mushrooms, keep warm, bring to boil the liquid, then add sour cream and serve over the noodles.
4.Sloppy Joes--cook low 4 hrs (1 lb beef)
5.Roast chicken--I put a bed of onions and carrots in bottom of cooker, top with seasoned chicken, roast 5-6 hrs on low..yum
6. Most any soups
7. Spoon corn bread--great with chicken or turkey 1 pj cream cheese, soft
1/3/c sugar
1 c milk
2 Tb butter
1/2 c egg substitute or 2 whole eggs beaten
1 tsp salt, dash pepper dash nutmeg
2 1/3 c froz corn, 1 can cream style corn
1 pkg corn cread mix (Jiffy)
Beat crm chz add sugar, beat in milk , add eggs, butter, salt, pepper, then stir in corn. Stir in corn bread until just moistened. Pour into greased cooker and cook at high for 3-4 hrs.
Hope this gives you some ideas.. Desserts---well, I have some of those too. Write me. :>)

Clean a whole chicken and put that in the slow cooker with large-cut veggies (cut a couple of potatoes in half, leave a few carrots whole -- unless they're huge -- halve or quarter an onion and throw that in with a few cloves of garlic split in two) and let that cook all day. Salt and pepper to taste when you get home.
Leaving the veggies big means they won't be mushy when you leave them in all day, but should be done just right. Splitting the garlic cloves means you get more flavor.

If you want to eat truly healthy, lose body fat consistently, normalize your blood pressure, cholesterol levels, prevent cancer, and even boost your brain health and energy levels, you may have heard all over the news that the Paleo Diet has been found to be one of the best methods of achieving all of these benefits compared to any other popular "fad" diets out there. Go here https://bitly.im/aMCju
The truth is that the Paleo Diet will never be considered a fad because it's just simply the way that humans evolved to eat over approximately 2 million years. And eating in a similar fashion to our ancestors has been proven time and time again to offer amazing health benefits, including prevention of most diseases of civilization such as cancer, heart disease, alzheimers, and other chronic conditions that are mostly caused by poor diet and lifestyle. One of the biggest misunderstandings about the Paleo Diet is that it's a meat-eating diet, or a super low-carb diet. This is not true

Pork Chop BBQ Sandwiches
Boneless Porkchops
Your favorite BBQ Sauce
Pour the BBQ sauce in first and lay the porkchops in the BBQ sauce till all of them are swimming. Let cook on low for a few hours. Take a chop out and make a sandwhich with your favorite kind of roll (I like to use onion rolls) Place a slice of your favorite cheese on top of the chop and enjoy!

the other day i made the yummiest french onion soup in my crock pot. on a low setting, the crockpot will carmelize the onions (add butter of course to keep from burning). after they're nice and brown, add beef stock, red wine, bay leaves, and salt and pepper to taste. let simmer on medium all day. when your ready to serve, just ladle over a sliced french baguette. top with mozzarella or swiss cheese. yum!
