I can understand that perhaps you weren't raised to be courteous, but you would think that after a few times, you'd figure out this "social grace"

Umm. Not only women do this. I've been nearly trampled by men coming into an elevator. Aren't you being a little sexist. Perhaps YOU weren't raised properly.
