Hey. Boil the ramen as directed. In a separate frying pan, saute some frozen mixed veggies (anything with broccoli). Then mix in a can of Cream of Mushroom soup with a couple of teaspoons of soy sauce. Not bad, kind of like a creamy Chinese casserole, and easy on the budget. Good luck! :-)

Recipes for Ramen Noodles have I none, but what I have I give you. There is a web-site that might entertain you long enough to help you procrastinate. It might even help you to imagine funny things about college students and Ramen noodles. Take a look at http://www.phdcomics.com/ There are a few funny references to Raman noodles and many to college.

Get that pre bagged pkg of broccoli and cabbage shredded up with carrots in it.....get the handle of a knife or anything and break up the Ramen Noodles in the package (leaving them in the pkg to break up). Without cooking the noddles, mix together in a bowl with the cabbage, etc......add a few sliced almonds (good protein).....for dressing find a Ken's dressing (a buck a bottle) with something a little sweet like Pecan raspberry, etc.....will keep in fridge for over a week....this is GOOD...

depending on the type of ramen you get. try cracking an egg in before you turn off the stove and stir it in, or you can just crack the egg and leave it as is. then while your eating it break the yolk. =] its really yummy! i recommend it with any type of korean ramen. try the nong shim brand. its really good & spicy! ^^ and also add spam!! haha
or if you want to make it even more yummy, and you live near a korean supermarket.
try adding these things to your ramen too!
-dduk (rice cake)
-fish cake
-kimchi (you can buy a little jar)
and add all that into your ramen. =]

low priced Chow Mein rather than boiling and ingesting the Ramen, i will boil as directed, and then toss them right into a frying pan. So cook dinner the ramen with out the salt packet. Then drain and set aside. In a extensive skillet, turn the warmth to med/extreme. upload some diced onions and garlic. upload some meat like a million/4 c of diced chicken. Sautee for 3 minutes and then upload the noodles to the skillet and combine. turn warmth to med/low. upload a million/2 of the seasoning packet. combination properly, serve warm.

Ok, all ramen noodles are is pasta. Cook according to directions drain water add cheese or pasta sauce, meat ,vegatables. You can do anything with Ramen noodles that you do with all other pastas. If you don't like the flavoring it comes with don't use it.

try this one out:
2 packages Ramen noodles
1/2 cup dried mushrooms, chopped
20 large raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
1/2 cup sliced scallions
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1 quart vegetable broth
1/2 cup mirin
1/4 cup soy sauce
4 teaspoons sesame oil
Special equipment: 4 (18-inch) squares aluminum foil
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
Divide ramen noodles evenly in center of each of the 4 pieces of aluminum foil. Stack the following ingredients on top of noodles, in this order: mushrooms, shrimp, onions, scallions, red pepper flakes, and salt. Pull sides and corners of pouch up to form a small basket shape leaving an opening at the top to pour in liquid.
In small bowl, combine vegetable broth, mirin, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Distribute liquid evenly among packs. Press foil together, leaving a small opening to allow steam to escape. Place on cookie sheet and bake in oven for 15 minutes. Serve immediately.

I add the noodles (uncooked) with sliced almonds to romaine lettuce, cabbage, shredded carrot, sliced green onions, mandarine orange slices and shredded chicken with an oriental dressing for oriental chicken salad.
Just add an egg, and green onion to the soup.
I also like the mixed frozen vegetables added to the soup. Canned vegetables are too mushy.
I know where you're coming from and Ramen, bread and cereal were staples for me along with fresh fruit.

Same here. So here is what you need to buy for Ramen Noodles. Red Pepper, yeah, sprinkle that on it and it makes it spicey. This works best if it is chicken flavor.
